Chahid Elhafed (Sahrawi Republic) 26 February 2025 (SPS) – The President of the Sahrawi Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, received a congratulatory message from his Zimbabwean counterpart, Mr. Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, on the occasion of the 49th anniversary of the proclamation of the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR).
In his message, President Mnangagwa extended his warmest congratulations to President Ghali, the Government, and the people of the Saharawi Republic on behalf of the Government and people of Zimbabwe.
He reaffirmed his commitment to further strengthening and expanding the strong bonds of friendship and solidarity that have historically characterized the relations between Zimbabwe and SADR.
The Zimbabwean leader also reiterated his country’s unwavering support for the Saharawi people's right to self-determination and independence.
In conclusion, President Mnangagwa wished President Ghali good health and expressed his hopes for peace and freedom for the Saharawi people. (SPS)
