
Shaheed Al-Hafed, January 1, 2025 (SPS) - The Cuban medical mission operating in the Sahrawi refugee camps held Wednesday a celebration for Cuba's Independence Day at the mission's headquarters at the National Health Complex.
The event was attended by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Public Health, Salek Mohamed Omar, the Director of the National Health Complex, Ahmed Bzeid Baba Hamou, members of the teaching staff of the Simón Bolívar School, as well as Sahrawi doctors and officials from the Ministry of Public Health.
The celebration included speeches praising Cuba's support for the Sahrawi people, not only in their struggle and just cause but also for its significant contributions to the training and education of Sahrawi youth in various fields, especially in medical specialties.
