Caracas, February 29, 2024 (SPS) - The President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, received a congratulatory message from his Venezuelan counterpart, Mr. Nicolas Maduro, on the occasion of the 48th anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic, renewing Venezuela's "permanent solidarity" with the "just Sahrawi cause" and its "firm support for the right of the Sahrawi people to self-determination."
In his message, the Venezuelan President expressed, on his own behalf and on behalf of the Venezuelan people and government, his sincere congratulations to the President of the Republic and to the struggling Sahrawi people, on the occasion of the 48th anniversary of the founding of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic.
The message adds that "on this glorious date, the Venezuelan government affirms its commitment to continue supporting the Sahrawi people and their just cause, through the conclusion of cooperation and friendship agreements, based on integration and solidarity, which benefit the two brotherly peoples in the economic and social fields."
