School of 9th of June, December 12, 2023 (SPS) - The National Council continued its autumn session by listening to MPs’ questions in light of the evaluation of the government’s annual program for the year 2023.
The plenary session, which was chaired by the member of the National Secretariat and Chairman of the National Council, Mr. Hamma Salama, and in the presence of members of the legislative and executive bodies, witnessed several interventions during which members of the National Council focused on the necessity of improving government performance, raising the level of the cadres, securing basic services for citizens, and imposing strict control on the market in order to maintain the stability of the prices and provide basic materials to match the purchasing power of citizens.
Members of the National Council also touched on upgrading political discourse, media and diplomatic work in line with the armed struggle phase, strengthening national institutions, confronting negative phenomena and making more efforts to impose security and stability.
The interventions also touched on the necessity of mobilizing and focusing on the occupied territory front and the Intifada of Independence as a front of struggle and resistance in a direct confrontation with the Moroccan occupation and exposing its crimes against the Sahrawi people and its ongoing human rights violations in the occupied part of Western Sahara.
