Saxony (Germany), April 16, 2024 (SPS) - The Representative of the Polisario Front in Saxony and Bavaria, Mr. Mohamed Abba Adjil, accompanied by members of the Sahrawi news media "Equipe Media," Mohamed Limam Bah and Mohamed Meyara, met on Monday with the President of the Youth and Sports Committee of the German Federal Parliament (Bundestag).
During the meeting, the parties discussed the situation of Sahrawi youth, especially in the occupied territories of Western Sahara, as well as other issues related to the conflict and how to draw the attention of German policymakers to the situation of the Sahrawi people.
The delegation was also received by the NGO "Work and Life," during which, members of Equipe Media showcased several audiovisual works depicting the human rights situation in the occupied territories of Western Sahara, with a focus on the suffering experienced by Sahrawi journalists when covering events in the territory. At the conclusion of the meeting, the Coordinator of Equipe Media, Mohamed Meyara, delivered a lecture on the history of the conflict and the current situation in Western Sahara.
