Akader (Morocco) May 21, 2011 (SPS) - The Saharawi students in the Moroccan university of Akader commemorated Friday the 38th and 6th anniversaries of the outbreak of armed struggle and the Intifada of Independence in Western Sahara.

The event was attended by Moroccan students and sympathizers, who congratulate the Saharawi people and the Polisario Front on the occasion of the outbreak of armed struggle.

The Saharawi students demanded right of self-determination for Saharawi people, release all the Saharawi political prisoners and denounced the brutal attack by the Moroccan police against the Martyr Dambar’s family on Thursday.

Thirty-eight years have passed since the Frente Polisario, the Saharawi liberation movement, announced the outbreak of armed struggle in Western Sahara against the Spanish colonization on May 20, 1973. (SPS)
