Minister Ould Salek underlined that “Polisario Front supports the position of the African Union, while advocating for a peaceful political solution negotiated by the parties in conflict”.

“I think that military action will inflame the situation and will threat, consequently,, peace and stability throughout the extent of the sub-region” Head of Saharawi diplomacy said.

He asserted that the “fight against terrorism and the organized crime needs is in an overall strategy which must be carried by the core countries, in collaboration with traditional partners”.

Minister of Foreign Affairs revealed the involvement of the Moroccan intelligence in creating some terrorists groups such as the so called the Movement of Unity and Jihad in West Africa “Mujao”.

“Through Mujao, Morocco wants to create destabilization and confusion to divert public opinion both regionally and internationally to its colonization for Western Sahara”,  Ould Salek highlighted in  interview with  l'Expression.

“Some members of the terrorist group “Mujao” were arrested by Sahrawi security services following the kidnapping of three European aid workers in Saharawi refugee camps. They do not deny the fact that they were hired by the Moroccan services to kidnap the three humanitarian”, he added.

“The continued aggression of Morocco against Western Sahara since 1975, supported by foreign powers, especially France, thus constitutes a source of destabilization of the entire sub-region”, said Minster of Foreign Affairs. (SPS)
