El Aaiun (occupied territories), Aug 18, 2013 (SPS) - Moroccan occupation forces repressed Sunday a massive peaceful demonstration organized by Saharawi citizens at Foum el Oued’s beach, 25 kilometers west of the occupied city of El Aaiun (capital of Western Sahara), according to a source of the Ministry of Occupied Territories and Diaspora.
The demonstrators staged near the so-called Miramar Hotel, where they chanted many slogans that call for their right to freedom and independence, as well as for the withdrawal of Moroccan occupier from Western Sahara.
Moroccan repression forces threw them with stones and beaten them with sticks, said the source. (SPS)
