Awserd (Refugee Camps), August 25, 2014 (SPS) - Sahrawi President and Polisario Front Secretary General Mohamed Abdelaziz underlined Saturday in Awserd, Sahrawi refugee camps, that the Moroccan occupation is under pressures from the international community and the Sahrawi people’s fight and commitment to its right to self-determination.

The Moroccan occupant, which failed in military and diplomatic terms, is under pressures from the international community in favour of the Sahrawi people’s right to self-determination and the growing commitment of the Sahrawi people to that right,” said President Abdelaziz at the opening session of the works of the second congress of the Union of Seguia El Hamra and Rio de Oro Students.

He said the international community is more than ever aware of the Saharawi people’s right to self-determination.

The president highlighted the responsibility of Sahrawi students to achieve this goal, calling them to renew efforts and preserve the legacy of the martyrs.

Dubbing their role “essential and central in the armed fight,” Abdelaziz called the Sahrawi students to arm themselves with knowledge and exploit technologies of information and communication, especially social networks. (SPS)
