Saharawi delegation participates in 27th session of UN Council of Human Rights

Geneva, September 13, 2014 (SPS) -  A Saharawi delegation participates in the 27th session of the United Nations Council of Human Rights which takes place September 8-27, according to a source of the delegation.

 

The participation of the Saharawi delegation aims at shedding light on the serious violations of human rights perpetrated by the Moroccan occupier against Saharawi citizens in the occupied territories of Western Sahara.

 

 The session will address several reports related to arbitrary arrests and forced disappearances, justice, reform and other relevant topics.

 

The Saharawi delegation consists of Mr. Said El-Filali, President of the National Committee for Human Rights, Hafdallah Shadad, Executive Board member of the Committee of Human Rights, Mahmud Eddaf Salama, a member of the Association Families of Sahrawi Prisoners and Disappeared (AFAPREDESA), Lala Anhbuha Lakhlifi member of the Committee the Families of Kidnapped Young Sahrawis and Mashdufi El Mustapha, a member of the Committee of Families of Saharawi Political Prisoners (Gdeim Izik group).
