Moroccan forces impose tight security siege on occupied Dajla

Submitted on

Dajla (occupied territories), March 20, 2015 (SPS) - Moroccan occupying authorities continue to impose a tight security siege on the occupied city of Dajla, Western Sahara, ahead of any potential demonstration, said a source from the Saharawi Ministry of Occupied Territories and Communities Abroad.

The move aims to deter the Saharawi citizens in the occupied territories from peacefully protesting for their right to freedom and independence and to call on Moroccan occupation to withdraw from Western Sahara.

Moroccan forces tightened the noose on various neighborhoods of the occupied city of Dajla, and launched a large-scale campaign of arrests and torture against young Saharawis. (SPS)
