Boumerdes (Algeria), August 8, 2015 (SPS) – The 6th Edition of the Summer University of the executives of the Sahrawi Republic (SADR) and Polisario Front concluded Saturday in Boumerdes, Algeria.
The conclusion ceremony was attended by members of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front, the SADR government and the National Council, Algerian prominent personalities and parliamentarians, and members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Algeria.
During the closing ceremony, the lecturers and Sahrawi and Algerian personalities, who contributed significantly to the success of this academic event, were honoured and certificates and awards were distributed to some participants in the Summer University.
The Summer University sent a letters to Algerian President Mr. Abdelaziz Bouteflika, the Saharawi political prisoners in Moroccan jails, and the authorities and officials in Boumerdes.
During the works of the Summer University, several lectures on various topics were presented such as resistance culture, plunder of natural resources of the colonized territories, security threats in the Maghreb, moderation in Islam, the Algerian national resistance and revolution.
The Summer University of executives of the Polisario Front and the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR), took place on July 25, and bore the name of the Saharawi martyr "Hassan Elouali" under the slogan "The Moroccan policy in the region: expansion, drug promotion and instability."
Over 400 executives, including members of the Government and representatives of the Polisario Front and the Saharawi people in the occupied territoriesparticipated in the Summer University,it should be recalled. (SPS)
