El Aaiun(occupied territories of Western Sahara), January11,2016 (SPS) .- The Association of Control of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of Western Sahara on Monday sent a message of protest to the organizers of Crans Montana Forum protesting the intention of organizing this forum in the occupied city of Dajla.
The association underlined that the organization of such events "does not contribute to the peace plan established in 1991 by the United Nations, which makes it clear that Western Sahara remains a non-self-governing territory to self-determination of its people."
The association recalled the political and social situation of the city of Dajla in which the holding of the forum is intended for the second occasion despite the rejection of the Saharawi people and the international boycott received in the first edition. (SPS)
