Shaheed Al Hafed, 2 January 2023 (SPS) - The National Secretariat of the Polisario Front has affirmed its full agreement on all the issues and topics raised and submitted by the Preparatory Committee for the 16th Congress of the Polisario Front.
In a statement culminating the work of its final 8th ordinary session, the National Secretariat affirmed that, after extensive discussions, recalling the challenges ahead, the National Secretariat unanimously concluded a written contribution to the national debate on the occasion of the 16th Congress. The National Secretariat included its unified position on all the issues and topics raised in the documents submitted to the Congress.
The National Secretariat examined and analyzed the report submitted by the National Preparatory Committee for the 16th Congress of the Polisario Front, which included the draft documents to be presented to the Congress. The National Secretariat appreciated the valuable work undertaken by the National Preparatory Committee, praising the success of the political conferences that took place in all locations of the presence of the Sahrawi people.
The statement highly valued the constructive contributions of the Polisario Front's militants, women and men, and the spirit of responsibility and frankness that characterized them, especially the deep awareness of the Sahrawi people of the critical stage, and its clinging to the option of resistance and escalating the struggle, until the completion of liberation and extending the sovereignty of the Sahrawi state over its entire national territory.
