Sahrawi embassy in Mozambique takes part in International Day for Natural Disaster Risk Reduction

Maputo (Mozambique), 14 October 2022 (SPS) - The Embassy of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic in Mozambique participated Thursday in the celebration of the International Day for the Reduction of the Risks of Natural Disasters, held on October 13 of each year, at an official invitation from the Presidency of the Republic of Mozambique.
The event was supervised by the President of Mozambique, H.E. Mr. Filipe Jacinto Nyusi, in the presence of the African Union Commissioner for Agriculture, Rural Development, Blue Economy and Sustainable Environment, Ms. Josefa Leonel Correia Sacko, and the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations for Disaster Risk Reduction Ms. Mami Mizutori, as well as members of the Mozambican Government, the diplomatic missions accredited to Maputo and representatives of international organizations.
The Sahrawi Embassy in Mozambique was represented by Chargé d'Affairs, Mr. Mohamedsalem Mohamedlamine Jumani, in the event marking the International Day for Natural Disaster Risk Reduction.
