POLISARIO warns EU unilateral decisions represent a violation of international law in Western Sahara

Chahid El-Hafed, 29, March 2022 (SPS) - The Frente POLISARIO warned the countries of the European Union (EU) about the seriousness of making unilateral decisions that violate international law in Western Sahara.
In a statement made public at the end of the ordinary session of its National Secretariat, held on March 26 and 27, the POLISARIO reminded EU Meeting of "the legal situation of the Territory of Western Sahara and the resolutions of the Court of European Justice, whose most recent verdict called for the cancellation of the fishing agreements between the EU and Morocco for their violation of European and international law.
The POLISARIO Front also warned, in its statement, about "the seriousness of making decisions, either unilaterally or by certain countries as a whole, because it will only lead to postponing the possibility of a just and lasting peace, causing instability and escalation of tensions in a dynamic and sensitive region in the vicinity of the European Union”.
