Minister of Foreign Affairs holds bilateral talks with his Nicaraguan counterpart

Managua (Nicaragua) January 12, 2022 (SPS) - The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Salek, held bilateral talks with his Nicaraguan counterpart, Mr. Denis Moncaza, on the sidelines of his participation representing the President of the Republic, Mr. Ibrahim Ghali, in the inauguration ceremony of Mr. Daniel Ortega, President of the Republic of Nicaragua.
The bilateral talks which took place at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the capital, Managua, discussed the international and regional situation and issues of common concern, and shed light on the resumption of the war with the Moroccan occupier, who repudiated its obligations with the Sahrawi side and the failure of the Security Council to enforce the implementation of the agreement concluded between the two parties for which the MINURSO mission was established.
The meeting was attended by the Sahrawi Ambassador to the Republic of Nicaragua, Mr. Elouli Amer, and from the Nicaraguan side, Ambassador Carlos Morales.
