Sahrawi School for Gender organizes virtual conference on concepts of feminist discourse

Shahid Al Hafed, 26 December 2021 (SPS) -  The Sahrawi School for Gender of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Promotion of Women organized Saturday a virtual conference on the concepts of feminist discourse, especially the concept of the glass ceiling in the feminist perspective.
During the conference, Sahrawi researcher Warda Hammoudi Ahmed Baba presented a lecture under the theme “concepts of feminist discourse” and precisely the concept of the “glass ceiling” in the feminist perspective, through which she touched on the definition of the glass ceiling, its manifestations and factors affecting it and how to break it.
The conference was inaugurated by the Minister of Social Affairs and Promotion of Women, Mrs. Souilma Biruk, by explaining the Maputo Protocol recently ratified by the Sahrawi Republic, and was marked by a distinguished participation of Sahrawi women from the Sahrawi refugee camps, occupied cities and the diaspora.
The conference was moderated by the representative of the Polisario Front in Germany, Mr. Najat Handi, and expressed unconditional support and solidarity with Sahrawi masses in the occupied territories, especially Sultana Khaya and her family and all the Sahrawi political prisoners held in the notorious Moroccan occupation prisons.
