FM delivers letter from President of Republic to his Nigerian counterpart

Abuja (Nigeria) 1 February 2021 (SPS) - Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Salek, has beeen received by his counterpart of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Mr. Geoffrey Onyeama, and delivered a letter from the President of the Republic, Mr.Brahim Ghali, to his Nigerian counterpart, Mr. Muhammadu Buhari.

The two ministers reviewed the good brotherly relations between the two countries and the two peoples and expressed their willingness to develop them for the benefit of both parties. They also touched on regional and international issues and topics of common concern.

The Minister briefed the higher authorities of brotherly Nigeria on the brutal Moroccan aggression against the Sahrawi Republic and the Moroccan occupier’s appeal to forces from outside Africa known for their hostility to the liberation of the peoples of the continent and their support for colonialism and apartheid.

The Minister had several meetings with Nigerian officials. (SPS)
