Stockholm (Sweden) 11 December 2020 (SPS)- Swedish Prime Minister, Ms. Ann Linde, affirmed in a statement Today that her country position on Western Sahara remains unchanged, following unilateral position expressed by US outgoing President, Donald Trump, supporting Morocco’s illegal occupation of Western Sahara yesterday.
“Sweden position on Western Sahara remains unchanged: a just, lasting, and mutually acceptable political solution, which will provide for the self-determination of the people of Western Sahara, in line with international law. Sweden supports UN-led process,” Ann Linde stressed. (SPS)
