Sahrawi Republic attends AU sixth Foreign Affairs Ministers Council special session on institutional reform

Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) has attended The special meeting of the Council of AU Foreign Ministers of the member states on the institutional reform of the decision-making bodies Scheduled on September 12- 13, it comes in preparation for the upcoming summit of Heads of State and Government in Addis Ababa next November, which will discuss major reform issues, the challenges facing its implementation and the specific results that the reform process must achieve, Institutional framework, according to source from Sahrawi Embassy in Ethiopia
Saharwi Republic is represented by  an important delegation consists of  the Minister Delegate for African Affairs , Hamdi Jalil Mayera along with SADR ambassador to Ethiopia and Permanent representative to AU , Laman Abali, and Senior officials from the Sahrawi Mission to Ethiopia and the African Union.
The African Union decided at the recent Nouakchott summit to hold an extraordinary summit of heads of state and government of the African Union (AU) on 17 and 18 November in Addis Ababa to discuss the issue of institutional reform and the adoption of the Addis Ababa Agreement on reform and the establishment of appropriate structures and institutions for the implementation of the African Union Plan of 2063.
