Submitted on

Abuja (Nigeria), August 12, 2018 (SPS) - The Nigerian Movement for Western Sahara in the Nigerian capital, Abuja, has organized a platform of solidarity with the Saharawi people and their just cause, in the presence of the Sahrawi Ambassador to Nigeria, Malanin Sadik.
The solidarity platform was an opportunity for Nigerian civil society organizations to rene their support for the legitimate struggle of the Sahrawi people led by its sole representative, the Polisario Front.
During this platform dedicated to solidarity with the Sahrawi people, the interventions expressed condemnation to the grave violations of human rights in Western Sahara and the systematic looting of its wealth by the Moroccan occupation regime.
It was also an opportunity for the Sahrawi Ambassador to brief the audience on the latest developments regarding the Sahrawi issue, in particular the achievements at the level of the African Union. (SPS)
