Paris, April 18, 2018 (SPS) – Dozens of French demonstrators have condemned on Tuesday their government support to the Moroccan regime occupation of the Saharawi people during a solidarity sit-in with French activist Claude Mangin-Asfari after being prevented from visiting her husband,.
The protestors condemned the French government's negative attitude towards the Sahrawi cause, assuming it the responsibility of the arbitrary measures taken by the Moroccan state, against French citizenship and human rights activist Claude Mangin-Asfari, who was prevented yesterday from visiting her imprisoned Sahrawi political husband.
They have called on their government to exert pressure on the Moroccan state to immediately release all Sahrawi political prisoners and stop the arbitrary arrests of Saharawi civilians in the occupied Territories of Western Sahara, expressing full rejection of France's complicity with the Moroccan regime in plundering Saharawi people wealth which constitutes a blatant violating the decision of the European Court of Justice.
“it is time for France to play its natural role in ending the suffering of the Sahrawi people in accordance with the requirements of international law and UN resolutions.” the protesters stressed  SPS
