Council of Ministers calls on UN to stop Moroccan plunder of Sahrawi people natural resources

Chahid El Hafed (Sahrawi refugee camps) March 28, 2018 (SPS) - The Council of Ministers called on the United Nations to stop the Moroccan looting of the natural resources of the Sahrawi people, stressing on EUCJ ruling issued on February 27, 2018, urging EU to adhere strictly and enforce it, and prevent any attempt to circumvent it, in conformity with European law, international law and international humanitarian law, in statement a copy of which obtained by SPS
The statement reaffirmed UN Security Council support to the efforts of the UNSG Personal Envoy, President Horst Koehler, to complete the decolonization of Western Sahara, renewing its demand for the implementation of Resolution 2351 by pressing the Kingdom of Morocco to resume the negotiation process and to resolve the Moroccan blatant breach of the ceasefire and Military Agreement No. 1 in the El Guergaret area.
