Boujdour (Sahrawi refugee camps), Jan 09, 2018 (SPS)- President of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) and Secretary General of the Frente POLISARIO Brahim Gali affirmed Tuesday, in Boujdour, that the Sahrawi State is determined to honour its commitments as part of the African Union (AU) concerning the enshrinement of the rule of law and fight against all forms of organized crime and terrorism, despite the various difficulties resulting from an exceptional situation because of the iniquitous Moroccan occupation  of some parts of the Sahrawi territory.

“The Sahrawi State will spare no effort to enshrine the principle of law supremacy and the protection of the citizen’s fundamental rights, despite the several difficulties relating to an exceptional situation resulting from the illegitimate and iniquitous Moroccan occupation of parts of the Sahrawi territory, such as exile, repression and blockade imposed in the occupied territories,” said the Sahrawi President at the opening of the judicial year 2017-2018 in Boujdour,

President Gali underlined that the Sahrawi State, from now on a national, regional and international indisputable reality, is “determined to ensure all the necessary conditions to honour its commitments towards the people and the world, as part of AU, concerning the enshrinement of the rule of law and the fight against all forms of organized crime and terrorism.”

SADR’s President said that the Sahrawi State is also committed to strengthening the capacities of the judicial institutions so that they can carry out the great responsibilities entrusted to them.SPS
