SADR receives memorandum from AU Commission confirming invitation of all Member States to AU-EU Partnership Summit

Shaheed El-Hafed, Oct 28, 2017 (SPS) - The Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) on Friday received a memorandum from the African Union Commission confirming the participation of all African states, without exception, in the 5th African Union-European Union Partnership Summit to be held Abidjan on November 29-30, Côte d'Ivoire, in accordance with the decision of the Executive Board (Council of Foreign Ministers) during its special meeting in Addis Ababa on October 16, indicated the Ministry of Information in a statement. 
“The memorandum states that the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire will guarantee the participation of all countries and will take all necessary measures to ensure that the summit is successfully concluded.”
"The Sahrawi Republic takes the opportunity to congratulate the African Union and all African peoples, expressing full confidence that the summit will undoubtedly be a success and an opportunity to strengthen partnership and cooperation between the African Union and European Union."
“The Saharawi Republic believes that the African Union, with the wisdom of its leaders and its unity, has become a respectable partner in its relations with foreign partners,” added the statement. (SPS)
