Children and Women Sahrawi Observatory condemns Moroccan occupation kidnapping of Sahrawi minor

Occupied Aaiun, September 08, 2016 (SPS) - the Sahrawi Observatory for Children and Women has strongly condemned the kidnapping and arrest of Sahrawi minor Jihad Abu Abed inside his family's home after besieged it from all sides on Tuesday by Moroccan police.
Observatory said in a statement that the police headed Jihad to an unknown destination without informing his family about his place and condition’s arrest, which constitutes a flagrant violation of regional and international conventions that protect the rights of the child.
The said organization assumed Moroccan state full responsibility behind any harm affects Jihad Abu Abed expressing concern on his destiny.
The observatory urged the international organizations and committees that operate on the protection of children's rights in particular in the area of general human rights to visit the occupied cities in order to stand on the repeated violations by the Moroccan authorities.
