Polisario Front informs MINURSO its protest against blatant Moroccan violation of ceasefire agreement

Chahed El Hafed, August 16, 2016 (SPS) - The Polisario Front informed Monday head of the UN Mission in Western Sahara "MINURSO" in Tindouf, to transfer its strong protest over a new and flagrant Moroccan violation of ceasefire agreement signed in 1991 between Polisario Front and Morocco.
Security and Documentation State Secretary, Brahim Mohamed Mahmud, commissioned by the President of the Republic, informed,  Dr. Yussef Djedyan, head of the MINURSO Office in Tindouf, the strong protest of the Polisario Front against the blatant and unprecedented Moroccan violation of the ceasefire agreement signed between the above-mentioned parties.
Secretary of State demanded that the MINURSO assume all its responsibilities, knowing that the affected area is under its responsibility and must ensure compliance with all terms of the ceasefire agreement line with the resolutions of United Nations Security Council and urgently take steps to prevent similar provocative acts to happen.

Brahim Mohamed Mahmud asked the UN responsible to report to the head of the MINURSO and the Special Representative of the Secretary General of the United Nations,  Polisario Front  deep concern over this serious violation that threatens peace and security in the region. (SPS)
