Week of solidarity with Saharawi people opens in Algiers

Algiers, July 25, 2016 (SPS) The cultural week of brotherhood and solidarity with the Saharawi people started Saturday in Algiers in the presence of politicians, representatives of associations of civil society in support of the Saharawi cause and a large audience.

The opening ceremony of the cultural week, held from 23 to 30 July, was marked by the presentation of an artistic program reflecting Sahrawi culture and popular arts by a pleiad of Algerian and Sahrawi artists.

Wali of El Aaiun, Mohamed Yeslem Beissat, President of the People's Assembly of Cenrtal Algiers, Abdelkrim Mitch, SADR Ambassador in Algiers, Bouchraya Beyoun,  took part in the ceremony, in addition to political and civil personalities from the two parties, it should be recalled. (SPS)
