Former Ugandan Vice-President presents her condolences to the Government of Saharawi‏

Kampala, (Uganda), June 21, 2016 (SPS) - The former Vice-President of the Republic of Uganda  and candidate for the position of Chairperson for African Union Commission Dr.Wandira Specioza Kazibwe accompanied by Ambassador Rossette Nyirinkindi Katungye, the Director Ambassador for Regional Cooperation in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uganda, visited the Embassy of the Saharawi Republic in Kampala today and conveyed her condolences to the Government and the people of Saharawi Republic following the death of the President and Secretary General of the Polisario Front The Late Mohamed Abdelaziz
 
She wrote in the condolence book: “We shall miss you- Pan African Brother - Your light will be kept burning. Rest in Peace".
 
It should be noted that the republic of Uganda presented the candidature of Dr.Wandira Specioza Kazibwe for the position of Chairperson for the African Union Commission to replace South Africa's Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini. Elections are to be held during the 27th African Union summit in Kigali,Rwanda expected to start on July 10. SPS
