Death of President Mohamed Abdelaziz: African diplomatic corps in Brasilia offers condolences

Brasilia (Brazil), June 11, 2016 (SPS) The African ambassadors accredited in Brasilia paid  Friday a visit to the Polisario Front representation to present their sincere condolences to the Sahrawi people and government following the death of President of the Republic and Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Mohamed Abdelaziz.

The African diplomats signed the book of condolences on behalf of the governments of their countries, stressing the enormous contribution of the Sahrawi leader in the struggle for the decolonization of the African continent and his important role in the process of integration and complementarity of its peoples and nations in the recent decades.

They also reiterated the unwavering support of their governments and leaders for the right of the Saharawi people to self-determination and independence, as well as solidarity with the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) and the Polisario Front on the occasion of the unfortunate loss of a great son of Africa.
