Political parties, national organizations pay tribute to late Sahrawi president

Algiers, June 02, 2016 (SPS) - Several political parties and national organizations on Wednesday have paid tribute to Sahrawi President Mohamed Abdelaziz, who died Tuesday, at the age of 68, after a long illness.
In messages of condolence to the family of the deceased and to the Sahrawi people, political parties and national organizations expressed deep sadness at the loss of the Sahrawi leader.
"The world has lost one of the pillars of the liberation movement and one of the symbols of the Sahrawi cause," said Tajamou Amel Jazair (TAJ) in its letter.
TAJ Leader Amar Ghoul paid homage to the memory of one of the heroes of the Sahrawi cause and one of its valiant children, who devoted their life to the liberation of their nation."
The New Algeria Front (FAN) and the National Accord Movement (MEN) mourned the loss of a Sahrawi leader, who dedicated his entire life to his people by defending their right to self-determination and national sovereignty.
The National Consultative Commission for Human Rights Promotion and Protection (CNCPPDH) paid tribute to the memory of a great leader, who gave his life for his national cause.
The National Union of Algerian Farmers (UNPA) expressed its sorrow at the loss of the "brave fighter of the Sahrawi cause." SPS
