Explosion of anti-tank mine kills Sahrawi minor

Mahbes (Occupied Territories), May 15, 2016 (SPS) - Saharawi girl Labuehi Leila, 12, died last Wednesday following the explosion of an anti-tank mine planted by the Moroccan army in the occupied part of Western Sahara, indicated a Saharawi judicial source.
The explosion took place in Egsaibat Lemaireg 15 km east of the town of Mahbes, occupied Sahrawi Territories, killing the Sahrawi girl, added the same source.
The body of the victim, who was looking after the flock of her family, was torn into parts due to the force of the explosion.
Western Sahara is a territory polluted by millions of mines, laid by Morocco since its invasion of the territory in 1975, particularly around the wall of shame. (SPS)
