Western Sahara people peace proponents not warmongers

Aghouinit (Liberated Saharawi Territories), April 27,2016 (SPS) - Saharawi Prime Minister Abdelkader Taleb Omar said Western Sahara people are "proponents of peace not warmongers," calling on the UN to assume its responsibilities towards the Saharawi cause by organizing a referendum on self-determination.
"We are proponents of peace, but in the face of Moroccan occupier's intransigence, we are ready to use all means, including armed struggle," Taleb Omar said at the end of military drills carried out Saturday by the Saharawi People's Liberation in Aghouinite, in the Saharawi liberated territories.
"Morocco's expulsion of the civilian and administrative component of MINURSO (UN Mission for the Referendum in Western Sahara) is a serious act that has changed the prerogatives of the UN peacekeeping mission as set by the Security Council, that is, the organization of a referendum on self-determination in Western Sahara."
The Saharawi official said "by expelling MINURSO's civilian and administrative component, Morocco seeks to focus all the lights on the ceasefire alone, which is rejected by the Polisario Front."
Taleb Omar warns that non-renewal of MINURSO's mandate, by the Security Council, will mean a "green light to Morocco for escalation."
In the face of such a turning point, he stressed, "Western Sahara people will have no other choice but to preparer their armed forces according to the next developments."SPS
