March in Madrid for self-determination referendum in Western Sahara

Madrid, 12 November 2022 (SPS) - The Spanish Coordination of Associations in Solidarity with Western Sahara (CEAS-Sahara) called, Saturday, during a large march it organized in Madrid, for the holding "without delay" of a referendum on self-determination in the Sahrawi territories occupied by Morocco.
Organized under the slogan: "They will not silence us, Sahara free now, the only solution is self-determination", the march took place from Calle Atocha to the Plaza de Santa Ana in the Spanish capital.

Basque region (Spain), November 10, 2022 (SPS)- The Secretary General of the National Union of Saharawi Women, Shaba Seini, began a work and coordination visit to the Basque region in Spain. Accompanied by the Saharawi representative in the region, Jadiyetu El Mojtar, and Mansura Bachari, representative of the National Union of Saharawi Women in Spain, meetings were held with political authorities and civil society.

Dili (Timor-Leste) 9.11.2022 (SPS) - The President of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, H.E. Dr. Jose Ramos-Horta received Wednesday the Saharawi Republic Ambassador to Timor-Leste, Mr. Abba Malainin in the Presidential Palace in Dili.
The Saharawi Ambassador, Mr. Malainin briefed Timor-Leste’s President about the recent developments of different aspects of the struggle of the Saharawi people to exercise freely their right to Self-determination, independence and to achieve full sovereignty over their land.

Moroccan occupation forces sustain heavy losses in lives and equipment in Mahbas sector

Birlahlou (liberated territories), November 2022 (SPS) - Units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) bombarded the positions of the Moroccan occupation forces in the Mahbas sector, causing heavy losses in lives and equipment.
Communiqué No. 677 issued Monday by the Ministry of Defense indicated that SPLA advanced detachments carried out intense attacks against the entrenchments of the Moroccan occupation forces in the areas of Amitir Lamkhinza and Laagad in the Mahbas sector, which caused panic among the occupation soldiers.

Irish Sinn Fein Party adopts motion supporting right of Sahrawi people to self-determination

Dublin (Ireland), 7 November 2022 (SPS) - The Irish Sinn Fein party adopted a recommendation supporting the struggle of the Sahrawi people and its right to self-determination, during its annual Conference, which concluded Saturday in the Irish capital Dublin.
The recommendation was unanimously approved by the Conference, where the representative of the Polisario Front in Ireland, Mr. Nafei Rais, participated in its work at an official invitation of the party.

New York (UN), 7 November 2022 (SPS) - Member of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front, the representative at the United Nations and coordinator with MINURSO, Dr. Sidi Mohamed Omar, has stressed that it was the repeated failure of the UN Security Council to shoulder its responsibility that brought the United Nations sponsored peace process in Western Sahara to its current state of deviations and total stalemate.

Birlahlou (liberated territories), 5 November 2022 (SPS) -  Units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) targeted the positions of the Moroccan occupation soldiers in the Mahbas sector, indicated Saturday communiqué No. 676 of the Ministry of Defense.
According to the communiqué, SPLA units bombarded the entrenchments of the Moroccan occupation soldiers in the areas of Shidhmiyah, Agrarat Farsik and Agrarat Atasa in the Mahbas sector.

Botswana reiterates commitment to right of Sahrawi people to self-determination

Gaborone (Botswana), 5 November 2022 (SPS) - Botswana's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Lemogang Kwape, on Thursday reiterated his country's permanent commitment to defending the right of the Saharawi people to self-determination and independence.
At a ceremony organized by the Botswana government on the occasion of United Nations Day in Gaborone, in collaboration with the UN body, Mr. Lemogang Kwape affirmed that "Botswana supports the Saharawi people and its just cause for self-determination and independence".

Shahid Al-Hafed, November 03, 2022 (SPS) - A delegation from the Women's March for a Free and Independent Sahara have started, a few days ago a solidarity visit to the Sahrawi refugee camps.
The visit, which comes in cooperation and coordination with the Sahrawi Ministry of Social Affairs and the Promotion of Women, aims to examine the situation of the Sahrawi people in the refugee camps and learn about the steadfastness of the Sahrawi women, who present the most wonderful images of sacrifice and steadfastness in various fields.
