Polisario Front partakes in Congress of Swiss Socialist Party

Basel (Switzerland), 31 October 2022 (SPS) - The Polisario Front has taken part in the work of the Congress of the Swiss Socialist Party, at the invitation of the party.
The work of the Congress, which was held on October 29-30, with wide international participation, was attended by the representative of the Polisario Front in Switzerland, Ms. Omaima Abdsalam, where the Sahrawi issue received considerable attention.

SPLA carries out new attacks against positions of Moroccan occupation forces in Mahbas sector

Birlahlou (Liberated Territories), 30 October 2022 (SPS) -  Units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) carried out new attacks against the positions of the Moroccan occupation forces in the Mahbas sector, indicated communiqué No. 670 issued Sunday by the Ministry of Defense.
According to the communiqué, SPLA units targeted the positions of the Moroccan occupation soldiers in the areas of Shidhimiya, Rous Sabti and Aberat Tanushad in the Mahbas sector.

Sahrawi delegation holds meetings in Norway

Oslo (Norway), 30 October 2022 (SPS) - A Sahrawi delegation led by member of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front, in charge of Europe and the European Union, Mr. Ubi Bushraya Bashir, accompanied by the representative of the Polisario Front in Norway, Ms. Senia Bashir, has held official meetings in the Norwegian capital, Oslo.
 

Angolan women's foreign relations officer reaffirms support for Sahrawi women's struggle for freedom and independence

Lisbon (Portugal), 29 October 2022 (SPS) - Angolan Women's External Relations Officer Augusta Leonel on Saturday reiterated support for Sahrawi women in their just struggle for freedom and independence.
During a meeting with Sahrawi human rights activist Sultana Khaya on the sidelines of the Congress of Democratic Women in Portugal, Mr. Augusta Leonel expressed the solidarity and support of Angolan women for the struggle of women in the Sahrawi Republic against the Moroccan occupation to end all forms of colonialism in the African continent.

Sahrawi civilian prisoner assaulted by Moroccan prison officer

Rabat (Morocco), 29 October 2022 (SPS) -  An officer of Tiflet 2 prison, east of the Moroccan capital, Rabat, on Friday physically and verbally assaulted Sahrawi civilian prisoner of the Gdeim Izik group, Sidi Abdallah Ahmed Sidi Abhah.
The sister of the Sahrawi civilian prisoner informed the Association for the Protection of Sahrawi Prisoners that she had received a phone call from him and he told her about what prison officer Tariq Laaraj had committed deliberately against him by insulting, cursing, and kicking him in front of his prison cell.

South Africa recalls Security Council that MINURSO’s mandate is to organise the referendum on self-determination

Xolisa Mabhongo, recalled the UN Security Council, in a statement to the Media yesterday after the latter’s adoption of a new resolution on Western Sahara, that the mandate of the UN Mission in this last colony is to organise a referendum on self-determination for the Saharawi people.

Martin Kimani, affirmed in his countries explanation of abstention on the new UN Security Council’s resolution on Western Sahara, Yesterday, that the resolution shifts from the initial mandate and will not help resolving this case of decolonisation.

Mr. . Mr Cyril Ramaphosa, in which he expressed deep gratitude for the warm welcome he received during the recent start visit he paid to South Africa.

Birlahlou, 22 October 2022 (SPS) - Units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) carried out, on Saturday, new attacks against positions of the Moroccan occupation forces in the Auserd sector, indicated the communiqué N 665 of the Ministry of Defense.
According to the communiqué, "SPLA units bombarded positions of the Moroccan occupation forces in the area of Astila Ould Bouagrine, in the Auserd sector."
