El Aaiun (occupied territories), June 30, 2018 (SPS) - The Association for the Monitoring of the Natural Resources and for the Environment Protection in Western Sahara (AMREPNWS) held Friday a meeting with UN Secretary General’s Personal Envoy for Western Sahara, Horst Koehler, at MINURSO headquarters in the occupied city of El Aaiun, in the presence of the UN Secretary General’s Special Representative for Western Sahara, Head of MINURSO, Colin Stewart.

Smara (occupied territories), June 29, 2018 (SPS) - Various formations of the Moroccan forces on Friday intervened violently against Saharawi masses in the city of Samara when they demonstrated on the streets during the visit of UN Secretary-General’s envoy for Western Sahara, Horst Koehler, in the occupied territories.

Occupied Aaiun, June 28, 2018 (SPS) - The occupied city of Aaiun has witnessed a massive demonstrations demanding the Sahrawi people independence in coincidence with  the visit of the UN Secretary-General's Personal Envoy to the Western Sahara Horst Koehler .

The Moroccan occupation authorities has  imposed a siege by the deployment of various formations to intimidate the Sahrawi people from demonstrating .

Chahid El Hafed (Sahrawi Refugee Camps), June 28, 2018 (SPS) - Sahrawi President, Secretary General of the Frente POLISAIO Brahim Gali affirmed Tuesday, at the headquarters of the Sahrawi Presidency in Chahid El Hafedh, that his talks with the United Nations Secretary General’s Personal Envoy for Western Sahara Horst Kohler were “honest” concerning the implementation of the recommendation of the Security Council made in April 2018.

Algiers,  June 27, 2018 (SPS) - Speaker of the People’s National Assembly Said Bouhadja reiterated Monday, Algeria’s consistent position vis-à-vis the just cause of Western Sahara and the right of the Sahrawi people to self-determination, stressing that the Algerian Parliament, as a model of solidarity with the Sahrawi cause, has supported this issue which falls within the framework of “decolonization.”

Chahid El Hafed, June 26, 2018 (SPS) - The President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Frente POLISARIO, Mr. Brahim Gali, received Tuesday at the headquarters of the Presidency of the Republic the Personal Envoy of the Secretary General of the UN for Western Sahara, Mr. Horst Kohler, who is on a tour to the region to relaunch the process of negotiations between the two parties to the conflict, the frente POLISARIO and Morocco.

Paris (France), June 24, 2018 (SPS) – The International Network of Parliamentarians for the Self-Determination of Western Sahara, which held its first meeting on Friday at the headquarters of the French National Assembly in Paris, called on parliamentarians and governments to strongly mobilize for the holding of a self-determination referendum in Western Sahara.
