Toledo, 29/05/2004 (SPS) The Mayor of Toledo, José Manuel Molino, expressed the support of his city to Saharawi people's right to self-determination, and expressed his happiness that ''this former imperial capital holds the 2nd international conference for the information on Western Sahara''.

Mr. Molino intervening in the opening plenary session noted that this conference ''will have positive results regarding to the mobilisation of the international public opinion on the situation of Western Sahara's conflict''.

Moreover, he expressed his ''strong support to the Saharawi people'', calling UN to ''enforce its resolutions on Western Sahara, without more delays.

Toledo's conference, the second after the one held in 1997 in San Sebastian, continues its works at the level of the commissions marked by NGOs, Spanish and Saharawi political officials's interventions. (SPS)
