KINGDOM "What is the future for the
Western Sahara", theme of a conference by Mr. Melainine Sadik

26/03/2005 (SPS) Under the theme " What is the future for the Western
Sahara", the Minister Counsellor to the Presidency, Mr. Melainine
Sadik, animated last Friday a conference in the London's School of
Oriental and African Studies, in which he gave a historical summary on
the conflict of Western Sahara, we learned from an official source.
The lecturer put stressed the different stages of the Saharawi people's
resistance to impose the respect of its inalienable right to
self-determination and independence. He deplored the injustice
committed against the Saharawi people all along 30 years because of
Moroccan attempts to impose the fait accompli of its occupation of the
territory.
On another hand, the Minister had had meetings with Members of the
British Parliament and NGOs, it was indicated. (SPS)
