The Envoy of the President of the Republic received by the President of Capo Verde

Praia, 21/06/2006 (SPS) The Envoy of the President of the Republic, Mhamed Khadad, Coordinator with the MINURSO, was received, on Wednesday in Praia, capital of the Republic of Capo Verde, by the President of Capo Verde, Pedro Pires, according to a Saharawi press release.

 

During this audience, which took place at the seat of the presidency, M. Khadad handed over a message from President Mohamed Abdelaziz to his counterpart of Capo Verde, about the "bilateral relations between the two countries, the ways to develop them and the last developments of the Saharawi question", the same text stressed.

 

Capo Verde "has always supported a just and peaceful solution to the conflict n the basis of the respect of the international legality and the UN and AU resolutions", the same text said. (SPS)

The Envoy of the President of the Republic received by the Head of the Mauritanian State

 

 

 

 

 

Nouakchott, 21/06/2006 (SPS) The Envoy of the President of the Republic, Khalil Sidi Mohamed, Minister of the occupied territories and Communities, was received on Wednesday in Nouakchott by the President of the Military Coil for democracy and Justice, Ely Ould Mohamed Fall.

 

Mr. Khalil handed over a message from the Head of the Saharawi State, Mohamed Abdelaziz, to his Mauritanian counterpart, about the "last developments of the Saharawi struggle for self-determination and independence", as well as on "the ways and means to reinforce the relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries, and peoples, Sahara and Mauritanian", the Saharawi Minister stressed in a statement to SPS.

 

The Saharawi Envoy also stressed "the considerable successes Mauritania realised in this period of transition under the leadership of the Military Council for Democracy and Justice". (SPS)
