Chahid El Hafed, 18/07/206 (SPS) More than 10.000 Saharawi children, whose parents and people live in exile near the Algerian city of Tindouf for more than 30 years, are taking profit since the mid of June of holidays in many European countries (Spain, Italy, France, Austria, Germany), the United States of America and Algeria, "thanks to the solidarity of the friends of the Saharawi people in these countries", indicated the Secretary of State for Youth an Ports, Mohamed Mouloud, in a statement to SPS.

The Saharawi official underlined that this initiative of solidarity, which was first started ten years ago, aims to enable the Saharawi children to "cohabit with other children and to have a new image of the world that is different from their own daily life" in the Saharawi refugee camps, which are situated in what is famous of been "the desert of the deserts".

"These little Ambassadors of peace were unable to profit from the beaches of their homeland, which extend on more than 1500 Km, and from which they are deprived because of a more than 2000 km military wall, landmines erected by the Moroccan forces of occupation guarded by more than 160.000 soldiers, 240 heavy artillery batteries and millions ", the Saharawi official added.
