The Senator also expressed his engagement to pay efforts so as the UN realise its mission of peace in Western Sahara by granting Saharawi people their legitimate rights.

On his part, the President of the Saharawi Republic informed his interlocutors on the last developments of the Saharawi cause. He focussed on the blockage Morocco puts in front of the UN peace process, especially the Baker Plan which was unanimously supported by the Security Council in its resolution 1495.

In the evening, the friends of the Saharawi people organised a reception on the honour of President Mohamed Abdelaziz, SPS correspondent indicated. (SPS)
