Aghoueinit (liberated territories), 11/006/2006 (SPS) Polisario Front commemorated the 30th anniversary of the Day of the Martyr, on Friday in Aghoueinit, in the Saharawi liberated territories, and held a conference of the Saharawi communities in the neighbouring countries and closed the last phase of the competition between the Saharawi military regions, some 900 Kms from the Saharawi refugee camps in Tindouf.
"The event is very important been an opportunity for us to renew the oath to our martyrs who felt in the field of honour for the finishing of the territorial integrity and independence of our independence violated by the occupier", the President of the Republic, Mohamed Abdelaziz, underlined during his speech on the occasion.
"The struggle took new forms since the starting of the Intifada of independence in the occupied territories", he indicated addressing a large audience composed of Saharawis from the Saharawi refugee camps and from the Saharawi communities, as well as friends from Mauritania, Algeria and the Saharawi soldiers of three military regions.
"On the front of the Saharawi occupied cities, in the south of Morocco and in the Moroccan universities, our citizens are waging a peaceful struggle, which is fiercely oppressed by the colonial authorities that unfortunately continue violating the human rights without been sanctioned by the international community", Mr. President deplored.
In this respect, the Head of the State called to the full support "of the Intifada, to the reinforcement of the national unity and to diversify the peaceful struggle to impose our legitimate rights to self-determination and independence".
The President of the Republic also regretted the delays registered in the construction of the Maghreb Arab, to which the peoples of the regions aspire, and which is blocked by "the Moroccan intransigence and persistence in the expansionist policy". (SPS)

SPS SADR/DAY OF THE MARTYR/ANNIVERSARY Inauguration of many social projects in Aghoueinit

Aghoueinit (liberated territories), 11/006/2006 (SPS) The President of the Republic, Mohamed Abdelaziz, put, on Friday in Aghouinit, the first brick of many social projects that will be built in this locality situated some 900kms o the Saharawi refugee camps, in margin of the celebrations of the 30th anniversary of the Day of the Martyr.
The Head of the State inaugurated a hospital financed b the Basque Country Government, a centre for the desalination of water financed by the Spanish region of Andalusia, a centre of communication, a school and the seat of the Mayor of he region with the presence of many members of the Saharawi political direction, and with the presence of Saharawi citizens from the refugee camps and from other Saharawi communities.
The Day of the Martyr, last June the 9th, was marked by the holding of sports competitions, races of Camels, musical shows, and was concluded by a military competition which was won by the 3rdSaharawi military region.
The Day was closed by the graduation o a new promotion of young Saharawi fighters from the Military School, Chahid El Wali School. (SPS)

SPS SADR/DAY OF THE MARTYR/ANNIVERSARY Polisario Front asks for pressures on Morocco to compel it conform to the international legality

Aghoueinit (liberated territories), 11/006/2006 (SPS) Saharawi Minister of Defence, Mr. Mohamed Lamine Bouhali, called on all international bodies and organisations to "exercise pressures" on the kingdom of Morocco to compel it subscribe to the international legality enabling the Saharawi people to exercise their inalienable right to self/determination and independence.
Mr. Bouhali, who was addressing a large audience during the ending ceremony of the 30th anniversary of the Day of the Martyr, indicated that Morocco persists in its colonial policy, its intransigence and defiance to the international law and legality, estimating that Morocco and the UN are "accountable" of the consequences that may lead the whole region towards explosion ".
Mr. Bouhali paid a high tribute to the martyrs of the Saharawi people, who sacrificed themselves for the sake of the national liberation, and to the Intifada of independence led by the Saharawi population in the occupied Western Sahara, South of Morocco and in Moroccan Universities, since last May the 21st 2005.
