AFRICA South African Minister for
Foreign Affairs expected this Thursday for an official visit to SADR

El Hafed, 06/04/2005 (SPS) South African Minister for Foreign
Affairs, Mrs. Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma, is expected this Thursday for an
official visit to the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic, indicated an
official source.
Official meetings with Polisario Front and SADR's leaders are planed
for, as well as the signature of accords of cooperation between the two
countries, it was said.
Mrs. Dlamini Zuma will be received by the President of the Republic,
Mohamed Abdelaziz, and will visit Saharawi institutions and
socio-cultural centres, the same source indicated.
South Africa has got diplomatic relations with SADR at Ambassadors
level since the recognition by Pretoria of the Saharawi Republic in
September 15, 2004.
An initiative that "will bring a highly valued contribution to the
return of peace and stability in the northern part of our continent
through a fair and balanced approach towards all peoples of the
region", had underlined a joint press release announcing this
recognition in Cape Town, it should be recalled. (SPS)
