Chahid El Hafed, 06/04/2005 (SPS) South African Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mrs. Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma, is expected this Thursday for an official visit to the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic, indicated an official source.

Official meetings with Polisario Front and SADR's leaders are planed for, as well as the signature of accords of cooperation between the two countries, it was said.

Mrs. Dlamini Zuma will be received by the President of the Republic, Mohamed Abdelaziz, and will visit Saharawi institutions and socio-cultural centres, the same source indicated.

South Africa has got diplomatic relations with SADR at Ambassadors level since the recognition by Pretoria of the Saharawi Republic in September 15, 2004.

An initiative that "will bring a highly valued contribution to the return of peace and stability in the northern part of our continent through a fair and balanced approach towards all peoples of the region", had underlined a joint press release announcing this recognition in Cape Town, it should be recalled.
