(SPS) A delegation of the Basque autonomous Government, chaired by the Minister
of health, Gabriel Inclan Mantuvo, ended Friday a three days work visit in
the Saharawi refugees' camps, has noted SPS.
"It is necessary to increasingly continue supporting SADR so as to get back
its legitimate rights to self-determination and independence ", declared
Mr. Mantuvo in a statement to the press at the end of an audience with the
President of the Republic, Mohamed Abdelaziz, on Friday.
Mr. Mantuvo, whom was accompanied by Basque autonomous Government's vice-minister
of development and co-operation, Foreign Affairs' Secretary General as well
as Counsellor to the media , had met with several Saharawi officials and
had visited local social projects that his Government is financing within
the framework of co-operation with the SADR. (SPS)

A South African delegation in a visit to Saharawi refugees' camps
Chahid el Hafed 05/06/2004 (SPS) A South African delegation, officially visiting
Saharawi refugees' camps, was received on Friday by the President of the
Republic, Mohamed Abdelaziz, indicated an official source.
Mr. Achraf Souleiman, the person in charge for the department of Africa and
the Middle-East, is in fact heading a delegation composed of representatives
of the ministries of Foreign Affairs, development and co-operation and health
and two Councelors to the South African Embassy in Algiers.
In a statement to the press at the presidency, Mr. Souleiman specified that
"this visit aims at deepening the bilateral relations and studying the best
ways and means to improve the co-operation between our two states", he added.
"There were strong relationships between Polisario and us while we were fighting
against racial discrimination, now they improved between our government and
that of the SADR which is still fighting to recover its independence", he

SADR/PARLIAMENT/SESSION
The Parliament sets up three commissions for coordination with the executive
Aousserd (refugees' camps), 05/06/2004 (SPS) Saharawi National Council
(Parliament) nominated on Friday three commissions to be in charge of the
co-ordination between Parliament and the Government, has announced a communiqué
of the legislative body publicised on Saturday.
the co-ordination between the two authorities, legislative and executive,
the revision and development of laws and training, are the given duties to
these three commissions, which will start their work immediately, it was
indicated.
The Parliament which is holding its session of spring will old an other meeting
this June the 12th to study the reports of these three specialised commissions;
it was added.
It should be recalled that the legislative authority (Parliament) had elected
its two representatives to the Saharawi Constitutional Council (specialised
legislative authority) on Sunday, conforming to article 128 of the constitution
