SPS SADR/SEMINAR Opening of the 12th Cultural
Seminar for the emancipation of the woman

(SPS) The 12th Cultural Seminar opened its works on Sunday in the 27 of
February school under the theme "continuity + complementarity=
liberation + development" of the political and cultural life of the
Saharawi woman. The conference is chaired by Mrs. Fatma El Mehdi,
Secretary General of Saharawi Woman National Union, and with the
participation of an important number of foreign personalities and
Saharawi political and cultural cadres.
The conference was divided in four workshops. One for the demographic
development, concerned with mothers' health. The second would have to
discuss the religious, moral and cultural matters. The third will focus
on the struggle for liberation and the means of its development while
the fourth is vouched to occupied territories and human rights.
It should be recalled that this conference, which is organised for two
days with the presence of foreign delegations from Sweden, France,
Spain besides Syria, Sudan and Algeria, is the 12th of its kind
organised by the Saharawi woman.
Cultural shows are planed for in the programme of the Seminar, it was
