Aousserd, 01/06/2004 (SPS) Saharawi National Council (Parliament) elected its two representatives to the Saharawi Constitutional Council (specialised legislative authority) on Sunday in the Wilaya of Aousserd, conforming to article 128 of the constitution of the SADR, had noted SPS.

Misters: Ahmed Taib El Yazid and Ahmed El Mehdi Hamma, were elected to the two posts reserved to the Parliament, which is holding its spring session since the 13 of May, within the Constitutional Council.

Saharawi Parliament had organised last Monday a "tribune of solidarity" with the Saharawi population living in occupied territories in margin of the works of its session.

Some Saharawi activists in occupied territories had discussed, through telephone calls, with Parliament members and had answered their questions about the situation of Saharawi citizens living under Moroccan military siege since 1975 in occupied territories. (SPS)
