Lehendakari Iñigo Urkullu receives SADR delegation

Vitoria-Gasteiz (Basque Country), Dec  01, 2021 (SPS) - Within the framework of the Conference of Basque cities twinned with cities and municipalities of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, which is held in Vitoria-Gasteiz, the President of the Government Vasco, Lehendakari Iñigo Urkullu, received a large delegation at the Presidency Headquarters, headed by the Minister of Cooperation of the SADR, Fatmha Mehdi, and made up of the governor of the wilya of Smara, Mariam Salek Hmada; Dih Chadad, Secretary General of the Ministry of Public Function; Abdulah Arabi, representative of the Frente POLISARIO for Spain, and M. Limam Mohamed Ali, representative of the POLISARIO for Euskadi.
At the meeting, which was also attended by the Secretary General for Foreign Action Marian Elorza, the Saharawi delegation expressed its gratitude to the autonomous government and the Basque people for their firm position of solidarity with the just struggle in Western Sahara for self-determination and independence, as well as the long trajectory of solidarity of the different Basque institutions in the political and humanitarian sphere in favor of the Saharawi people on their arduous path to comply with international legality and respect their inalienable right to live in peace.SPS
