French NGO asks its government to save the life of Sahrawi political prisoner Mohamed Lamín Haddi

Paris, March 10, 2021 (SPS) - The French non-governmental organization (NGO), the Association of Friends of SADR, requested its government to “intervene to save the life of the Sahrawi political prisoner Mohamed Lamín Haddi, who has been fifty six days of hunger strike in the Moroccan prison of Tifilt 2 ”.
In a statement addressed to the authorities of his country, the French NGO urged his government “to take advantage of the good relations with Morocco for the release of the human rights activist and member of the“ Gdeim Izik ”Group, who has been on a hunger strike since January 13, 2021 in protest at the precarious prison conditions in which he finds himself, as well as the deprivation of his rights to medical care and his transfer to more than 1,200 kilometers from where his family resides in the occupied territories of Western Sahara SPS
