Wilaya of Auserd, March 12, 2020 (SPS) - The international human rights activist in Southern Africa, Mrs. Catherine Constantinides, affirmed that the international community is required more than ever to redouble its efforts in order for the Sahrawi people to obtain their legitimate rights to freedom and independence.
In a speech to her during the opening of the works of the International Youth Forum in solidarity with the Sahara issue, Mrs. Catherine made it clear that the Sahrawi people deserve to have their legitimate right to freedom and independence guaranteed by international covenants like the rest of the world.
The South African activist added that the time has come to end colonialism from the last colony in the African continent, adding that South Africa will remain with the Sahrawis until they can obtain their full rights.
Mrs. Catherine seized the opportunity to thank all the foreign participants who came to participate in the forum to express their absolute solidarity with the Sahrawi just cause. SPS
